PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION COUNSELOR

Position Summary:

The applicant will have strong clinical knowledge and skills. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, providing crisis intervention to persons in acute distress, diagnosis using the DSM IV or 5, development of comprehensive treatment plans, referrals for additional services, providing intensive agency based and community-based individual, family and group therapy to clients, and providing case management services to collaterals, as well as other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Licensed by the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed by the Wyoming Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist.

OPEN ACCESS CLINICIAN

The Open Access clinician will be responsible for welcoming and engaging the individuals seeking mental health or substance abuse services with Central. They will be expected to meet the immediate needs of walk-in clients through crisis management, assessment, intervention, case management and referral to services. Our agency has committed to being responsive to the needs of the community and this position will provide the opportunity to strengthen referral partnerships through collaboration and communication.

Duties/Qualifications:

· Ability to easily develop rapport with new clients

· Flexible general schedule to meet the needs of walk in clients

· Knowledgeable of the DSM- V and diagnosing mental health and substance abuse disorders

· Trained in using the DLA-20 preferred

· Willingness to learn about all agency programs and processes

· Clinical licensure (e.g. fully licensed, provisionally licensed, or CSW.)

· Ability to utilize collaborative documentation and meet deadlines for paperwork submission

Qualifications:

· Licensed by the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board as a Provisional Clinical Social Worker, Provisional Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed by the Wyoming Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist.

· Must meet required professional training and certification by licensing board.

RESIDENTIAL CLINICIAN

Job Description:

Central is a licensed and accredited Community Mental Health Center located in beautiful Casper, Wyoming. The Center has been in operation since 1959. The Center provides behavioral care services to adults and children. CWCC is a private, not for profit organization, providing a comprehensive range of mental health services.
